Postpartum Care

“When a Woman feels supported, the baby thrives, the relationship thrives, our community thrives, and our planet thrives.”

— Kimberly Ann Johnson, The Fourth Trimester

In Ayurvedic medicine, there’s a saying that goes, “Forty Days for Forty Years.”

The messages and care a Mother practices in her first 40 days will shape the next 40 years of her life. It is my calling to contribute to a better world by offering you the care you desire and affirming the truth that you are deeply valued and honoured in what I believe to be the ultimate role on Earth: Mother. The postpartum period is often a fluid and hazy time, and my goal is to move with you as your needs evolve. I aim to serve you in creating a dreamy, restorative, and nurturing postpartum experience—for the sacred work of Mothering the Mother.

Support

Every home and family is different, and I bring my intuitive presence to each space, offering care where it’s needed most.

Whether this is your first birth and you’re seeking all the support you can find, or you’re an experienced Mother looking for the care you wished you had the first time around, it is my pleasure to walk with you on this journey. My goal is to support you as you integrate your birth story and transition into Motherhood.

This is an in-home service for Calgarians and surrounding areas, I come to you. We book one week at a time with options to extend. I also offer a 6 week package.

"Somehow, a pervasive idea has spread in modern times that the mom who is out and about soonest with her baby is somehow the strongest, like an episode of Survivor. But that's all upside down—in a healthy postpartum period, it's she who stays still that wins the prize."
